Dr Kevin Donnelly AM

Kevin Donnelly is one of Australia’s leading conservative public intellectuals and cultural warriors. Since first warning about the dangers of political correctness in 1992 Kevin has engaged in the battle of ideas against the cultural-left’s long march through the institutions.

Kevin is also a Senior Fellow at The Australian Catholic University and has written numerous articles and books on contemporary developments in education, culture and politics. In 2014, Kevin co-authored a review of the Australian National Curriculum.  

Kevin taught for 18 years in Melbourne secondary schools and was a member of the Victorian Board of Studies. He was also a member of the Commonwealth’s Discovering Democracy Programme and has undertaken a number of international benchmarking projects comparing and evaluating school curriculums. In the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for services to education.
