Nataliya Melnyk is the Executive Director at the Bendukidze Free Market Centre, an independent Ukrainian Think Tank. She has researched the issues of national sovereignty in the globalized world and political identification in Ukrainian society. 

Nataliya has spoken at conferences across Europe and the United States focusing on free market economics and human betterment. In 2022, she remained in Kyiv, her home city, during the initial Russian invasion and bombardment of the capital and she currently volunteers to help bring humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

She was a postgraduate researcher at the Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies. She graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a master’s degree in European studies and a bachelor’s degree in political science.
