CPAC Australia 2020
CPAC Australia 2020
Held on 4 November 2020 at Doltone House Darling Island Wharf in Pyrmont, CPAC Australia 2020 was staged in the middle of the Covid pandemic, under shifting and often unpredictable restrictions. It brought conservatives together in person at a time when most large gatherings simply weren't happening. The timing was deliberate: as Americans went to the polls, CPAC Australia gathered to watch the result come in live, connecting the Australian movement to a defining moment in the wider conservative world. The day involved a program of leading Australian voices including Rowan Dean, Alan Jones AO and Senator Eric Abetz among those taking the stage. That the event happened at all, well-run, in person, and on the day it mattered most, was a statement in itself: that this movement would not be put on hold. CPAC 2020 stood as proof that Australia's best days are not behind her, but must be fought for, even when the odds are stacked against you.
